Note: Piping kit not included — reuses factory piping. The Mishimoto Intercooler Kit with piping is also available and recommended for FBO builds or extended spirited/track driving, since the silicone piping holds up better than factory rubber over time.

If you're looking to drop inlet air temperatures (IAT) by up to 42°F, the Mishimoto Intercooler Core is a great upgrade. This larger core keeps your 1.5T or Si from pulling back engine timing — which reduces power — especially in summer, when the factory intercooler heat-soaks after a short while of spirited driving. Heat soak means the intercooler's surface gets too hot to properly cool the passing air before it returns to the intake manifold.

This is a direct-fit intercooler core for the 2016+ Civic 1.5T and Si. Expect modest gains of up to 3whp and 8 ft-lbs of torque on the stock tune. We run the full Mishimoto IC kit with piping on our own Blue Si, which is FBO and sees the track — it's never heat-soaked since install.
