My experience with Unity Performance - Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

After waiting 2-3 weeks, I finally received my Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from Unity Performance for my classic 1993 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. Humza communicated well and provided an alternative tire when Michelin was out of stock, but I decided to wait and I'm glad I did! Before that, I was running Bridgestone Potenza RE71Rs. The problem with the RE71Rs is that the rubber doesn't grip well until there is substantial heat in the tire. They also do poorly in the wet. That resulted in a super sketchy ride with the rear wheels breaking loose even in 3rd gear. With the Michelins, I have traction in 2nd gear even when it's wet, the ride is substantially better, and the steering response is more linear. It's a night and day comparison. Don't compromise! Get Michelin.
