Only needed for 2020-2021 US market FK8 - not required for 2017-2019 FK8 or any other vehicle. You still need to separately purchase Hondata's instant jailbreak. The Jailbreaker device itself is reusable across as many vehicles as you like.

The 2020-2021 US market FK8 added a CAN gateway that blocks Hondata's instant jailbreak from working normally. This tool temporarily bypasses that gateway so the instant jailbreak can complete, then gets removed and the stock gateway goes back in.

Install Steps

1. Update FlashProManager to the latest beta version
2. Don't attempt to jailbreak if the ECU is in recovery mode - return it to stock and verify it's working first
3. Pull the left side of the lower dash free (held in with spring clips, comes away easily)
4. Locate the stock CAN gateway, on the same wiring as the white and blue connectors into the lower dash
5. Unplug the stock CAN gateway and plug in the Jailbreaker
6. Perform the instant jailbreak through your FlashPro
7. Unplug the Jailbreaker and plug the stock CAN gateway back in
8. Push the lower dash back into place
9. Drive a short distance to clear any codes
