These caliper bushings replace the soft factory rubber slide pin bushings that are on the rear of all 10th generation Honda Civics. The factory rubber bushings allows the caliper to deflect when the brake pedal is depressed, resulting in poor brake wear and a less than ideal brake pedal feel.
Our bushings are made from a bronze alloy and machined to tight tolerances to keep the slide pins centered and the caliper true to the brake rotor. They are sealed on both sides, vs the factory rubber bushing which is only sealed on the back, this reduces the wear on caliper over its life and extends the interval that the pin grease needs to be reapplied. This results in a brake caliper that flexes considerably less which gives a multitude of improvements such as:
- More even brake pad and rotor wear
- More consistent and firm brake pedal feel
- Improved brake release due to less deflection
- Longer pin grease life due to improved sealing
- Longer brake pad and rotor life
These improvements make a noticeable difference and every 10th generation Honda Civic can benefit from it, whether you're on racing on track or just daily driving your vehicle.

Installation for my FL5 Civic Type R was easy following the instructions on the video. Rear brakes seem to be wearing more evenly and brake pedal feel is improved! Definitely recommend the upgrade if you are doing any brake work.
I had my mechanic, who also installed my rear brakes, try to fit these, and they simply don’t work. The brass pieces are too long or too wide to install properly. They might work for other models, but they are definitely not compatible with the Type S. Save yourself the hassle. Don’t buy for the Integra Type S.
I have a 2017 Si and after 5 years of bad rear rotors wear (uneven) crusty and name it, I tried those bushing and whey were the solution to my problem.
Now the rear rotors are used even and there is no more rust accumulation or piting on it. Plus the brake feeling is constant and solid.
Those bushings are a really tight fit into the caliper and the caps they go on it keep the contaminant out, there is nothing inside aside the grease that's verry nice compare to the OEM bushings in cheap plastic and loose. So if you have uneven rear rotor wear, give those a shot they are clearly a 'investment' cause you will not change your rear rotor as often (been the same rotor for the last 3 years 88000 kms driven ish). Recommended
So I have had pretty poor brake wear. I decided to get some paragon p3 and Wunderladen bushings in the rear and they are wearing much better. Put about 5k on these pads and they still have quite a bit of life. Normally my pads would last about 10k miles or less.
These really helped even out the wear on the rear pads as the pad isn’t turning on an angle when in use like it does from factory. Feels smoother as well. Worthwhile upgrade to save your pads long term!
