aFe's Takeda system centers on a large 360-degree radial flow air filter with a 3.5" flange. The Pro DRY S media option uses three layers of oil-free synthetic media — great progressive filtration and dust holding capacity without the mess of oiled filters, well suited for street use. The inverted top design adds extra filter surface area for longer service intervals between cleanings.

The open-element XLPE housing minimizes warm engine air intrusion while still letting you see the filter at a glance, and creates a heat-blocking seal once the hood is closed. A larger, upgraded air inlet pulls from the factory scoop, feeding a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube built from the same heat-resistant XLPE material. The patent-pending filter-to-housing interface uses half the parts of a traditional cold air intake, keeping installation genuinely simple.
