Acuity Shifter Rocker Upgrade | 16-21 Civic

I recently ordered the Acuity Centering Spring, Shifter Rocker from Humza, and a friend tossed in the base bushing. Together with the Acuity Shifter Bushing installed under the hood. Putting them all together at once was an absolute joy. Even without adding a short shifter, these upgrades deliver a fantastic and budget-friendly solution for a more precise and solid shifting experience.

The reduction in lateral play, the shortened gear throw, the enhanced mechanical feel and crispiness became immediately noticeable after the installation. It's truly a great upgrade that brings a newfound enjoyment to both the installation process and everyday driving. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an improved driving experience!

This coupled the acuity shifter spring gives the whole experience a more tactile and solid feel. I recommend this for someone who likes a more stiff shifting feel but wants to avoid spending all that much.

Within 2 days of getting my Si, I resolved to do something about the terrible shifter. Honda shifters are usually so good, and I couldn't stand the 10th gen Si shifter as it was. So plasticky and rubbery and floppy.
I installed the short throw adapter, upgraded return spring, shifter base bushings, and rocker upgrade, and now the shifter feels RIGHT. Like a proper Honda shifter. It should have been this way from the factory. Stop reading this and buy the damn Acuity stuff, it's SO MUCH BETTER. Acuity also has both pdf instructions and step by step YouTube videos on installing the stuff, it was time consuming but very easy. Took maybe 2.5 hours for everything, though I did not get the engine bay side bushings.

Full disclosure: I didn't know about this site when I bought my Acuity stuff, I got the parts elsewhere, but they're so awesome I had to pass it on. I would have gotten them from Humza here if I had known about this site at the time for sure, along with the Type R shifter assembly but I missed the boat on that, and I ain't taking my whole damn interior apart again. For the price, I would have gotten that whole package and called it a hell of a deal. This is the only site I know of that sells that as a package deal, and I wish I had gotten that Type R shifter too. :(
