    _______

If you are a serious enthusiast looking for the most precise, and rewarding feeling shifter available for the 10th Gen Civic platform, Acuity's Adjustable Short Shifter is a masterpiece that you will love! Being personal friends with the founder of Acuity Instruments since 2017, I knew Russ would deliver something stellar, and the 1.5 years of waiting didn't disappoint once I had this unit on our blue Si in April 2019.

With over 2 years of use on our Blue Si, it is still one of the best upgrades made to our build! Gear throw and gate spacing are independently adjustable - you choose whether you like mild or maxed out reductions. We've tuned our adjustments to be right in the middle so it's still friendly for a daily driven car. The shift knob rod can also be rotated, and lowered to your desire in order to set it in the spot that feels right for you.

The heavy centering spring leaves little play, which can't be said for the loose, vague factory shifter. Acuity really meant to manufacture this as a lifetime product, because easily 5,000+ shift actuations later I cannot tell a difference from how it felt on Day 1. The factory shifter has a weak spherical joint in the rocker which allows for little wear-compensation, and thus the shift quality degrades further over time. The cherry on top are the unique base bushings that affix the Acuity Adjustable Short Shifter to the center tunnel.

All in all a great upgrade that we can't recommend enough! This will take your commuter car shifter to a proper sports car feeling level!

Must have upgrade for 10th gen civic

Within 2 weeks of owning my pre owned civic. There was one thing that I could not stand. And that was the sloppy, uncomfortable stock shifter the car came with. Granted it was a used car and the guy that had the car before me, said he was hard on it. Install was easy, I had a few extra steps I had to figure out because I have a built-in wireless charger and heated back seats. But I was still able to get it done in less then 2 hours. Adjustment were easy to make to get it to a comfortable position. Shifting is definitely firm and you know it's in gear when you shift. It was a bit stiff for the first few drives, but it is definitely getting easier. I highly recommend this product, ive used shifters from Hurst and B&M before and this one is just as good as any of there product.

    TYPE FC2
Massive Upgrade over Stock (non-Type R)

A massive upgrade for any sedan, esp. if you have a few miles under your belt as the OEM shifter gets sloppy after a while. Installation was quite easy, just give yourself lots of time, 4-5 hours is not unreasonable if you do not rush. It is a good product and everything FITS, unlike a lot of aftermarket stuff. Watch Pawin's install video on the Acuity YouTube, channel but ALSO READ THE MANUAL because he gets some of the torque specs wrong. Make sure you have all the tools you will need BEFORE starting. He lists those at 1:30 in the video. Make sure you have good lighting or bring a flashlight. A night and day upgrade over stock. Definitely worth picking one of these up from Unity Performance, Humza will take care of you.
