The brake master cylinder on the 11th Gen Civic is mounted to the brake booster, which is attached to a thin firewall. Under hard braking — whether in an emergency or on track — the forces generated cause the firewall to flex, which moves the master cylinder and introduces a delay in brake engagement and poor pedal feedback.

The 27WON Master Cylinder Brace bolts directly to the 27WON Front Strut Tower Bar and acts as a hard stop for the master cylinder, eliminating firewall flex. The energy that previously went into flexing the firewall now goes directly into brake engagement — resulting in a firmer, more consistent pedal feel and faster response. A must-have for any track-focused build.
