The factory coolant expansion tank on the 10th-gen Civic is thin plastic that yellows, gets brittle, and eventually cracks - a real problem since the tank pressurizes your coolant to raise its boiling point. 27WON's replacement is fully seam-welded aluminum, rated to hold over 30 PSI - well above the factory cap's 1.3 bar rating and more than the cooling system will ever see in normal use.

Instead of a sight glass or plastic tube (which just introduces the same cracking/discoloration problem), it uses a dipstick to check coolant level - unscrew the cap, dip to the neck, and look for coolant on the threads. Comes with a holster to stash the dipstick in your glovebox or on your keychain.

Installs in about an hour with all hardware included - no extra trip to the hardware store.
