Even left untouched, the 2020+ Honda Civic Type R has one of the best factory manual transmission shifters in any car at any price point, that's a fact. However us being us, we won't leave it at that! We are now selling this Honda OEM part that is compatible for ALL 2016-2021 Honda Civic six-speed manual trims, paired up with Acuity Instrument add-ons that make it even more fantastic!

The shift knob will sit 1" lower (nearly 2" lower if you add an Acuity POCO shift knob), the throw/distance between each gear will be shorter, the gate-spacing between gears will be reduced, and there will be increased effort moving from gear-to-gear. Overall, a much more precise, tactile feel. What's included:

This shifter combination gets you a taste of what the full shifter would feel like, but at less than half the cost! Don't get us wrong, the Acuity Adjustable Short Shifter is mechanical brilliance; you cannot match it with an OEM shifter as it sits at the top shelf with any aftermarket manual transmission shifter that is engineered to deliver the bolt-action rifle like feeling. The full shifter is also adjustable, which this is not. However, we understand that not everyone can or is willing to spend to spend close to $500 USD. This combination will satisfy your desire for crisper shifts!
