Important: You must install the included spacer under the pivot ball for the clutch fork, or you will have shifting issues. This flywheel only works with Type R factory fitment clutch kits.

The Wunderladen Retrofit Clutch Kit uses an Action Clutch flywheel that pairs with an OEM Exedy Type R clutch and pressure plate to create a 1.5T clutch kit that handles 400+ horsepower without sacrificing daily driver friendliness compared to a factory setup.

The Action Clutch flywheel is machined from chromoly steel, making it an extremely solid and robust flywheel that's significantly lighter than the factory dual-mass flywheel, but not so light that the factory ECU gets confused and throws misfire codes like it can with super-light aluminum flywheels. This lets the engine rev faster and be far more responsive during throttle transitions, while chromoly's strength ensures long life of the friction face and the ability to withstand high power without failure. It also uses a flywheel bolt lock ring so flywheel bolts won't back out after torquing.

The Exedy clutch it's paired with is the OEM unit for a Type R. This larger disc provides greater surface area for the clutch to grab, creating higher torque-holding capability. Combined with the OEM pressure plate, this creates a clutch package that holds significantly more power and torque than the factory clutch while still keeping a low-effort, easy-to-modulate pedal.

This kit has every piece you need to do a full clutch install: a new release bearing, all new bolts, a billet steel clutch alignment tool (superior centering compared to cheap plastic alignment tools, making it easier to mate your transmission to the engine), a flywheel locking tool to hold the flywheel in place while torquing the bolts, and a packet of grease for the input shaft and clutch splines.
