An affordable entry point into PRL's intake lineup: this kit swaps the factory corrugated inlet hose for a smoother-flowing 4-ply silicone hose and high-flow air filter. Those pleats in the factory hose genuinely disrupt airflow, capping power potential and dulling throttle response, so removing that restriction is a real gain even at this price point, not just a cosmetic swap.
