PRL's patent-pending design taps directly into the factory fuel line rather than replacing it, eliminating any risk of alternative-line deterioration and keeping the engine bay clean. That's a genuinely smart call, too: the factory line uses an EPDM outer hose with an ETFE (PTFE-like Teflon) inner liner that's already excellent at resisting ethanol-based fuels, so there's no reason to "upgrade" it unless it's kinked or damaged.

The kit runs off factory plugs and outputs under the hood for power and ECU communication, so there's no cutting, splicing, or running wires through the firewall into the cabin. Install and removal both take minutes with the included hardware and bracketry.

Ethanol burns cleaner and cooler than gasoline and resists detonation better, making it a genuinely cheap alternative to race gas or methanol on higher-compression turbocharged engines — which is exactly why flex fuel setups exist. The kit monitors ethanol content wirelessly via any smart device, or can output a configurable 0.5-4.5V signal to a tuning device to enable true flex fuel operation.
