The FK8 Type R — especially 2017–2019 models — is notorious for running hot. Honda addressed some weak points for 2020, but the factory radiator still leaves headroom for improvement, particularly for owners who track their cars or push them hard on the street. The Koyorad Aluminum Radiator is 50% thicker than OEM, giving the fins dramatically more surface area to shed heat before coolant recirculates back into the K20C1.

Full aluminum construction replaces the OEM unit's plastic end tanks, which crack over time under heat cycling and hard use. It's a plug-and-play swap that retains all factory mounting points, fans, fan switch, A/C condenser, and OEM hoses — no modifications required.
