The factory radiator in the 1.5T Civic is thin by design — adequate for street driving, but not built for repeated spirited runs or track use. As coolant temps climb, the OEM unit struggles to shed heat fast enough before recirculating coolant back into the engine. The Koyorad Aluminum Radiator is 43% thicker than OEM, giving the fins significantly more surface area to capture and dissipate heat from incoming airflow — keeping coolant temperatures lower and your engine safer under hard use.

Full aluminum construction replaces the OEM unit's plastic end tanks, which are prone to cracking over time especially as the car is driven harder. It's a plug-and-play swap that retains all factory mounting points, fans, fan switch, A/C condenser, and OEM hoses.
