Infinity Design took a different approach than most cone-filter intakes: a large expanding tube with an integrated MAF housing feeds into a completely redesigned airbox with significantly more volume and an 80% larger opening than stock. Their signature double-cone air filter, with a 175mm opening larger than any cone filter currently on the market, sits inside the carbon housing positioned to direct airflow toward the outer walls for the best possible laminar flow into the engine.

On an independent Maha MSR500 dyno, the stock car made 330 BHP matching Honda's factory rating; after installing this intake, the same car made 347 BHP — a clean, consistent 17 BHP gain from 2500-7000 RPM, with a particularly strong jump around 5500 RPM. Torque improved by roughly 20 ft-lb over the same range. Intake air temperatures were tested against the OEM system and came back essentially identical, so you're getting the power gain without a heat soak penalty.
