I was recommend a dashcam, specifically BlackVue by a family friend after someone hit and run my car while it was parked. I didn't have any footage or witness from that incident so I had to pay $2,000 out of pocket for the repair :(
Got the DR770X Front and Rear from Unity, installed at their location since they offer this service too. They showed me how it was setup cleanly to conceal the wires, helped me download and setup the app on my phone.
Not even 2 months later I was driving and got sideswiped by an inattentive driver. He initially blamed me for coming into his lane, but his tone changed quickly when I said I got it all on my dashcam and will be reporting to the police and my insurance. He paid me $1,400 for my repairs. The Dashcam has 4x paid itself off, and I wish I had it during my first hit, so now I recommend it to everyone!
