I had an incident sometime back where I was not moving and was hit - I was lucky that the other driver was honest, otherwise it would have been 50/50 fault on the claim. If you have a car you are attached to, or have put money into, or is difficult to replace - a dashcam is a must have for peace of mind.
This is the basic model, does a good job for my purpose of capturing driving video along with parking mode (if I wanted video for YouTube or something, I'd get the top model instead) The front and rear cameras integrate well and install was not very difficult.
Connecting to the app lags sometimes, other than that, no complaints.
As usual, the Unity team was helpful in pointing me to the right model for my needs. Highly recommended.
Dashcam is a must when getting any vehicle. The 590X does a wicked job being able to capture plates clearly, and have good quality recording. Install was easy and simple, and it works really well! Pulling clips off is seamless through the app. Would recommend to anyone looking to protect their car or record themselves on the track!
