Factory shifter base bushings on most Hondas and Acuras are soft rubber, and leverage turns that small amount of compliance into a noticeably spongy feel at the shift knob. Acuity's bushing kit replaces the rubber with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum, giving you a genuinely more decisive shift feel even with a completely stock shifter.
