The factory coolant expansion tank on these cars is plastic, and it's a known weak point — the material dulls, yellows, and gets brittle over time, eventually cracking and losing the pressure the cooling system depends on to raise coolant's boiling point. 27WON's replacement swaps that out for fully seam-welded aluminum construction with a smooth high-temp paint finish.

Instead of a sight glass or plastic tube, coolant level is checked with an included dipstick. The dipstick stores on a keychain, in the glovebox, or in the included holster when not in use.
