We have tested these pads on our in-house Type R and we are extremely satisfied with how they performed both on and off the track. However, there was a significant amount of noise when street driving, but once they warmed up on the track, they were silent. Also, we noticed that with these pads they resisted against brake fade, and would hold up against 3-4 hot laps without any issues.

Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its HP Plus brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.
