Bang for Your Buck, excellent alternative to an expensive race-style mount which results in tremendous vibrations in your car's interior! Whiteline's Positive Shift Kit inserts into the factory engine mount and results in a greatly improved shift feel and response by reducing the movement of the rather sloppy factory design.

Having personally tested this on the Unity Si, this mount is perfect for those looking to reduce slop in the drivetrain while accelerating aggressively, and especially during gear shifts where one really feels the factory mount and bushing falls apart. Simply remove the mount from your vehicle, grease well and insert the single bushing, and reinstall the mount again. Minimal to no vibrations, car should've came like this from factory!

Unity Performance also offers the Perrin RMM Inserts, a more aggressive offering for those interested. Perrin's design utilizes two bushings, one on each side and leads to a more rigid overall design. The offering is still daily-friendly, but you will notice more vibrations versus the Whiteline RMM Insert, but not as much as a complete solid racing style mount.

Bang for you buck!

Quick and cheap mod that will give you that much needed stiffness without being harsh. Quicker throttle response and crispier shifts. Gets rid of that jerky feel between shifts.

Whiteline RMM Insert

Was looking for a way to reduce wheelhop without getting much NVH. This insert does exactly that, it helped with wheelhop, stopped the motor from flexing as much and even made shifting feel smoother. The NVH for me is very minimal so far, haven’t even broken it in yet and I only felt vibrations in reverse. AC was running at idle and had the slightest vibration. Overall, this insert is perfect for a street setup and for the price you can’t go wrong.

Easy to install, a little NVH but minor

I just wanted less flex where the engine meets the transmission, and this helps with that. There is a little more NVH in the cabin, particularly at idle and when reversing (basically any time at really low revs), but it's not bad at all. A lot less than my 7th gen SiR when I put in Energy Suspension poly engine mount inserts for example. This is SUPER easy to install, it took me 20 minutes total.
I put the front of the car on ramps, you can reach the front bolt on the engine mount easily (though you do have to take the aluminum belly pan off), the rear bolt is under the plastic tray behind the aluminum one, but you don't have to take it off or even the front of the tray and leave it hanging as shown in Whiteline's video on YouTube. Instead, just literally take a knife and cut two slots, one on either side of the bolt location (you can see it in there), and bend the tiny bit of plastic covering the bolt so you can get at it with a socket, then when you put the mount back in, just bend the plastic back up. Then you can get at that bolt any time without any hassle. Doing this does not hurt anything, it literally just makes getting at this one bolt easier. Only the VERY FRONT EDGE of the tray covers the bolt, and the mount itself is easily accessible and removable/replaceable without taking the plastic pan off, it is ONLY the bolt that's the issue, so 10 seconds with a knife will save you a bunch of annoyance.
